About Us

Conway Road Veterinary Surgery

Conway Road Veterinary Surgery was established in January 2015 when the existing practice was purchased by David Snaith, Senior Veterinary Surgeon. The site had previously been a veterinary surgery for over sixty years.

David coordinated improvements to the building including a full, two-storey extension as well as other major internal renovations with the aim to improve facilities offering the optimum environment to provide the best care for your pets from our kind-hearted staff. The facilities we offer are reviewed regularly and improvements/modernisation are implemented as required.

Conway Road Veterinary Surgery is proud to be an accredited Small Animal General Practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.  The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK.  By setting standards and carrying out regular assessments the scheme aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care, which in turn offers peace of mind to clients of accredited practices and a more informed choice to the animal-owning public.  This Scheme is not mandatory, to become accredited practices volunteer for a rigorous assessment every four years at which time they have to meet and maintain a wide range of minimum standards.
